Ender3rd : My newest gaming monitor is a Samsung 2253BW LCD picked up from Newegg last summer. I love it, no dead pixels, excellent contrast ratio with very deep and defined black levels along with brilliant colors. No blurring in games such as COD4 and Quake4 and they look stunning in widescreen mode. Movies look very clean and clear. Looking back, I kind of wish I had gone with a 24 inch like you are planning to do. Spend time going through the customer reviews at Newegg for models that fit what you are looking for and you pretty much can't go wrong.

Good luck!
--
My Jeep is not an SUV.
