Didn't know any cable company in the past offered FM radio through cable in the NY metro area. Heard of it from other areas/providers but not here.
Brookhaven Cable TV, which was later TCI of Brookhaven, and now Cablevision of Brookhaven offered FM reception for free up until they started offering the DMX service..
I think many cable companies did this. In the old days before there were stereo TVs, they also simulcasted the premium movie channels in stereo on FM.

Many did -- this was the first time I ever heard of one charging for it though.. $2.50 with a basic cable subscription... $22.30 without?!
