Yes there is a law in Canada where you can now take your phone number with you. Even in Cellphones.

My Google-Fu isn't what it used to be. It appears that I can keep my number:

If I have home phone with Bell, I am assuming I can keep my telephone number?

Yes, we can port the number. It is very important that we get the
information exactly as it appears on your phone bill, even if it is miss-spelt.
Otherwise, the order will get rejected.

Hi all: If I switch my phone service from Bell to Teksavvy do I keep my current phone number?

I looked on the Teksavvy site, but there's very little info about phone service...

Thanx,
--Bob.
