Multiple NAT active sessions to Domain Server
This is something I have never paid attention to so it my be normal.
When I just checked the Status page of my router I noticed that there were over 20 UDP NAT active sessions to my Domain server.
If I check it every few minutes the number changes from none to as many as 20+
Is this normal? TWC is my service provider.
P.S I have no idea what NAT active sessions applies to -- The man who has no imagination has no wings. One of the most valuable things we can do to heal one another is listen to each other's stories.
Each DNS query uses a different UDP port, so that will be a new UDP NAT session per query, until it times out of the NAT table. -- AT&T dsl; Speedstream 5100b modem; openSuSE 11.0; firefox 3.0.11
