Once the Modem is registered, connecting a router would not change your viewable registered Modem MAC. Changing your router will change the default MAC address, so we have to use the cloned MAC address [or just record the old one and input it into the new router].<br><br>Why here and not there?<br><br>Comcast online tech support had no clue.]]></description>
