We are ALL screwed!!!

IF Government really has to spy on Government, then you know our leadership is compromised already. IMO I am CERTAIN this is a merely a front and will ultimately be used against the people.

Remember, the PEOPLE are the GOVERNMENT.
You think it is going to stop with your job description, think again.

Come on people, wake up.

It is no longer enough to place fear on the public so now they are placing fears within their own bureaucratic infrastructure by building this center.

Personally I am quite sick of it all.
I honestly only feel worse seeing news like this.

And for the record the media is definitely in the pockets of the current administration. There ARE HUGE groups of people on alternative media networks like YOUTUBE that strongly appose the Climate Bill that is about ready too move toward a Senate vote. And where is THIS in the NEWS? And if it is in the NEWS how balanced are the arguments?

That Bill HR2454 is Huge, and day after day I check over 10 major news center sites and nothing, zero zip, no insight, no nothing. Maybe a few short clips that is it.

Just M. Jackson all damn day long and what OTHER countries governments are doing. There is a reason why the silence is so real. People are getting paid off, because some real heavy shiat is trying to be pushed forward.

This building announcement just proves it again, and this snooping WILL NOT STOP WITH THE GOVERNMENT, MARK MY WORDS.

Never have I seen such a group of people so in denial and naive! F*CK!

For what it's worth, Happy 4th

It's the Fox News approach to infotainment. The other networks are using the Natalie Halloway template to formulate what information America needs to know.

The closest thing to a balanced news is NPR. They don't just rerun AP feeds and they allow all the interests in a news story to make their case.

ABC news seemed to be trying to de-bias themselves. But then we get this infomercial on O'Bama's health care plan and I don't know anymore.

But for the most part; media is our enemy. The sooner we realize that, the better chance we'll have a responsible press one day.

Do you even LISTEN to NPR?

For years they were as nearly as far left as Pacifica. I stopped listening to them over a decade ago. Something had to have happened; I don't know what. I remember there was a threat to pull their funding around 2005 because of their leftist slant to the news.

About a year and a ½ ago, I tuned in because it was all the radio would get in and I almost dropped dead from shock. NPR was reporting on the primary runups and not overtly favoring the Democrats at every turn. I had to pull over and check my universe; I thought I had wandered through some sort of portal.

As if that weren't enough, NPR actually gathers news. They NYT and the BBC are excellent at finding meaningful stories. But by the time they're done filtering the story through their bias machine it's almost unrecognizable from the truth.

But they do bring the story to the table and I can't really say that about Fox. Fox will resupply the non-left side of an issue, after most of the media carefully edits it out. That's why they are universally hated by the left. However, Fox rarely digs up anything meaningful on their own.

At least with a BBC/NYT story, I can look up the details that were omitted during the crafting of the story; and get the complete issue. With NPR, I don't have to put in the effort. If a leftist has editorialized an issue with their comments, NPR will find someone from the right to offer a countering view. They weight both sides equally. I can't come up with a single broadcast or cable network who'll do that, reliably.

Lastly, NPR is interesting. I heard a 1 hour story on a web outfit that reverse-419's Nigerian scammers. They have the 419 guys running all over West Africa after wired money that isn't there. NPR had a reporter at the Web Site HQ and another in Nigeria following one clown from city to city until he was broke and stranded in some town not friendly to vagrants. What a great story.

I don't know if you listen to Rush without question (he has been brilliant but his beliefs are stale) or you're a leftist who can't bear that NPR went off the farm. Whichever it is, you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
