Re: Trouble with dsl connection. said by Its a Secret:As you have a modem / router combo, make sure you allow pings from the WAN side, as your ISP needs to know if that connection is alive or not. That should make a huge difference in dropped connections. Never made a difference with my connection. Like daveinpoway  , I am with "at&t Yahoo! HSI".
