Re: new mlpp offering Methods have been covered in detail in other threads here (please review them), but suffice it to say that so far there aren't any DLink routers that support Tomato, so you would need to try one of the other methods mentioned in the threads if you do not wish to buy any of the Tomato compatible routers, which, BTW, include only SOME of the Linksys ones.
As you likely have heard, the old MLPPP support at TSI was unofficial and was stopped due to technical problems it caused, and they added a bunch of new gear to do it the new way, so....
Yes, in any case, you would need to contact TSI to arrange alternate Login credentials to use along with whatever method you choose, and if you do not already subscribe to a Static IP, then TSI will raise your monthly by $4 plus tax for doing MLPPP for you. |
