He let me scan his pictures, documents, and awards from WWII.  He made a few attempts to have the back translated, but never was successful.  I told him I would see what I could do.]]></description>

He never wore it.  He left India in May of 1942 and didn't arrive back in the US until July 1942.  The CBI patch wasn't created until July/Aug. 1942.  So he wasn't there for the transition to the CATF.<br><br>But I digress.]]></description>
