Well it will change a bit if you have a D3 modem once the cmts or whatever is D3, because then you will get bonded channels, that will help with slowdowns during peak hours.
As for when florida is getting D3.. thats a guessing game and nobody knows. Hell i cant wait for it to hit here just for the bonded downstream channels. but most likely it will be atleast 6 months or more before we even hear anything about it here. |

| that's quite sad, cox said that cable will bring innovation but those of us who don't have a "reason" to do the upgrades they won't bother. i know it's business but comon.
as stated before i could use the extra upspeed and i don't plan on moving to north caroliana anytime soon (a future FIOS area as it's TWC territory) as i have family there.
what's in AZ that's making them do this push to D3?
Centurylink may be issuing FTTH or FTTN sometime in 2010

| reply to brian2220 said by brian2220 :phoenix is the 5th largest city in the usa That is also in a qwest state. my guess is its cheaper to upgrade to D3 than to split nodes. speeds *currently* being offered are very doable on D2 modems/nodes/CMTS's. -- When I gez aju zavateh na nalechoo more new yonooz tonigh molinigh - Ken Lee |

| well, it be interesting to see future news about D3 here. probably be assaning (sp?) like 25 megs down 2.5 up or something like that for $80 a month.
i'm happy with the service but hopefully we will not be forgotten now that we are at 1.0 ghz or 850 or whatever. (FIOS is what..750 mhz?)

Its 25000/2000 here for the $80/mo. Don't expect much more upload in a havenot area rob. -- When I gez aju zavateh na nalechoo more new yonooz tonigh molinigh - Ken Lee |
