I upgraded to a faster speed plan but only my upload speed increased

There are two options used to resolve this
Call tech support if you get someone who understands this issue its a quick fix

My uploads increased to 640k, downloads stayed at 2.5m. some of my stats are as follows:

noise margin 16.0 dn 17.0 up
attenuation 39.9 dn 24.0 up
output pwr 15.o dn 11.9 up

connect rate 6016 dn 768 up
max conn 9376 dn 1108 up
uncancelled echo -18.4 db
300khz attenuation 46.2 db

I had also checked at the NID and the only difference as downstream attenuation was 38.7.
