Is Charter ever going to add channels (SD or HD), upgrade their boxes to mpeg-4, or upgrade their network to Docsis 3.0? They haven't upgraded a thing here in Upstate South Carolina.

I believe mpeg-4 is a long ways off... that would mean new headends, new boxes and a lot of money.

I think docsis 3 will get rolled out long before mpeg-4.

Prior to getting rid of my TV service from charter they were adding more HD... but once I got my own home and could get DirecTV it was bye bye charter for TV. Love DirecTV so far.
