| reply to engelke2007 Re: [HD] Portland, OR new HD channels effective Sept 1st.
said by engelke2007 :I am SO glad that my HD TiVo finally has the guide right. This has been the first time it took a day and a half for it to update. I'm using the Motorola DCX3400 and it took until today to get the channel names updated. This is my first time going through this (new Comcast TV subscriber) so I can't compare to previous changes. |

| reply to nevadabell Seems odd that they moved DisneyXD-HD, which was grouped with the other kid-friendly channels (744), all the way 796 which places it at the end of the "standard channels" and right next to the SD Adult pay-per-view channels of 801-803.
The only other kid-based programming in that part of the guide are the specialty Premiums. |

also that guide info should be updated no later than Wed. |

| reply to clbuck Hey, thanks for posting this. Just Monday I ordered the Premier Triple Play under the "Locked and Loaded" promotion. Had been on Dish (TV), Qwest (telephone) and Comcast (Internet). Now moving everything to Comcast. I'll have all these HD channels plus an upgrade to Ultra (from my current Blast!) on Internet. I'm really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, they are so busy that my install isn't scheduled for two more weeks. |

@atx.net | reply to clbuck I am so jealous. I live in Cherry Hill, NJ, and we have about 25 HD Channels. We should be getting that lineup in 2025:) |

| reply to clbuck Why would they put Style,Oxygen and Hallmark back on Analog? C-SPAN3/Sportsman Channel/Hallmark Movie Channel has been on Comcast for awhile and your just getting it. Good to know your getting Ovation because Comcast Olathe/MO doesn't have it or so on yet like all those HD Channels just Comcast to be annouced Channels 496-500 and 596-600. |

| reply to clbuck That is definitely an impressive lineup but I wonder why they are holding back in my area. Boston is supposedly all digital but they are still stuck at barely 30 HD stations with no eta on new ones. Doesn't make sense tbh, especially when they offer some seriously insane internet speeds. |

| reply to clbuck Wow...thanks, clbuck, for posting this! My bill is being generated at this time, so I didn't know the change was happening. That means a total of 91 HD channels that I will have and 14 that are possible, but I won't get because I don't subscribe to Starz, Cinemax, Showtime, or TMC. I'm still quite happy. |

Too bad it will most likely be at least 2 years for my area to follow suit. You are in a lucky system blessed with very talented hard working Comcast employees. |
