Linksys Wireless WEB Key

I installed a wireless USB linksys on a second computer. I copied the key from the first computer but after inputing it in trying to connect on the second key it says invalid passphrase/key. Yet it was copied from the first.

It says it is connected to the acces point but the internet cannot be found. All my other computers have working internets.

I am running vista on the second, xp on the first.

Welcome.

Are you sure you have the Vista machine configured to use WEP and not WPA? That would explain the issue.

You may also want to search here for similar threads. Seems like Vista is giving some people connection grief with wireless.
