In my case, Windows 7 has been more compatible with my hardware than Vista. I have an old Zoom serial modem that I use for caller-id that wouldn't work with Vista, yet Windows 7 recognizes it as a Lucent modem (which the chipset is.) My son as an old scanner that wouldn't work with Vista, yet it works with Windows 7.
I can't say about the wireless adapter, but there's a good chance it will.
If you have enough drive space, make another partition for Windows 7 and give it a shot. You may as well while it's free and you really have nothing to lose. |
