| lawn mower help Just went out to mow the lawn and broke the "operator presence control bar" cable on a Craftsman eager-1 6.0 h.p. 20" mower- model #917-388012. I can rig up something temporary but it seems if I don't get the lever that the cable was attached to pulled back to the correct position the engine will not start although it spins normally. My question is, does this safety feature simply apply a brake to stop the engine or is it also cutting current to the spark plug??
Owners manual and Google didn't help. Hope there is a good mower mechanic out there. | |
