Filled in the required info, clicked register and got the error page saying cookies not accepted or blocked. Went to adjust browser settings and accidentally closed Firefox. Tried to register 5 minutes ago with identical info and it says my username is not available.

I wonder if the username really is not available or is the info I typed in the first time being retained and the second attempt is blocked as a result. Trying to use homerscousin. I tried Homer's cousin at first but the last 2 characters did not appear in the field. Is a username limited to 12 characters?
