janderso1 : You need to set the speed in Imgburn to either 8x (or less) or the speed rating of the blanks if they are less than 8x. The green icon in the lower right will bring up the speed selection window. Set the Disc write speed to 8x and click add then OK. When you open a new batch of blanks you need to check the Imgburn write speed and set it if necessary because even if they are the same type and brand they may have a different ID. The Ids on my screen that are set to 2.4x are dual layer.

What brand and type of blanks are you using? I have been using TDK DVD-R single layer with Imgburn at 8x with no problems. I used them to burn both the 32 and 64 bit RC1 DVDs.

I usually buy Verbatium DVD+R DL for dual layer (the author of Imgburn recommends these for dual layer). I currently burn all dual layer media at 2.4x.
--
Jim Anderson
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">
