Re: [Win7RC Install Disc]To burn as *.iso or as unpacked?

Click for full size

Just grab IMGBurn (free) and choose what I've highlighted in the above image. It's simple...

[EDIT] All you need to do (my 2nd image) is choose the source file (the Win7 ISO), choose a burner, pop a blank DVD into your drive and then click the burn button (the 2 icons on the bottom left of the window).

Wow, IMGBurn has never failed me... I know many people here swear by it as well. Oh well,
Hopefully, someone who uses Nero 9 can help you. Good luck!

Just remember... you're burning the ISO as a bootable image. Do not burn the files themselves or the just the ISO file itself as data. It'll never boot...

[EDIT] Typo.

But the FILE-EXTENSION is *.iso, right?

All *.iso files (even this 3Gb one) are images, right?

How is the difference of data vs. bootable conveyed, please?

That is, what makes it bootable?

Thank you, Ugly
