Re: Mysterious loss of Wi-Fi If it is of any comfort, I have a linksys travel router that worked for a while, then quit after a few weeks. It still works after a fashion. If I plug it in, the wireless starts working after about 2 hours. That's not particularly useful in a travel router.
I assume it is a failure of some electronic component.
