Is this explained somewhere I haven't looked yet? The main reason I ask is because I posted a question in Home Improvement-lawn mower help just before I registered today and that thread is now locked after 2 replies. I'm wondering if it was a little too off topic.

I like this site. There are a lot of forums here and I would imagine there are many very knowledgeable people who visit who can answer a question that may not exactly fit.
