[WIN7] Can not get win 7rc1 to install

First off if I sound that I am being hateful it not towards you guys it about me.
If this is in the wrong form please move.
This afternoon since I had a spare sata drive I put into second pc so I don't have to use the external drive. The power supply that I have on it does not have sata power connectors. I had a molex to sata power changer but no extra molex connectors. I get the ideal to solder an extra molex to the power supple.
I get everything done and start the pc. The first time it slow getting past the bios. It restarts goes into widows, A blue screen come up saying that it stopped windows. ok I shut it down and restart. I get no screen at all.
I cut what I soldered off and restarted still no go. I exchanged the motherboard. It starts up ok but will not load windows. I put my install disk to reformat and start over. I had 5 hard drives connected when I first started out.
What it does now it will load the windows files but when it gets to starting windows it stops and won't go any farther. I tried this on all 5 hard drives.
How in the hell do I get this fixed or should I just throw it the trash? I should have know I would F==== up something.
I hope you guys can understand this mess

I have no clue..sounds like your computer doesn't like the copy of 7 that you downloaded?

Not sure why you went with rc1? Isn't that a old version? I just installed build 7264, with no problems..

Edit: You can also try asking at »www.sevenforums.com They helped me get going..

I would pull some of the memory and try it. An iffy memory stick can work fine with another version of Windows, but will cause all sorts of headaches when trying to install another version. Been there, done that.

Check/Reseat every connection as it's possible you may have knocked something loose while in there working on it.
