4 edits | reply to jig Katie Perry was first played on KROQ at least a year ago, Paramour even longer than that.
Also, Katie Perry signed a contract with the "a&r" guy along with two other women artists at the same time in the same room. He told all three women then something basically like: "one of you might make it in the business, but most likely you will end up a nobody, pumping out babies in middle america"
On top of that I think her boobs are juicy. Mmmmm.
Edit: Check my blog and news for more interesting music news, facts, figures, and other random really cool stuff. Check it bro. Thanks for listening. |

kroq has been crap for about as long as katie perry has been alive, let alone with boobs big enough to sucker an a&r guy into signing her to a label. -- Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam. |

| reply to RR Conductor KROQ was great. They used to introduce alot of good alternative music to peeps. They are super corporatized now. When they started playing Paramour and Katie Perry, they went on my banned list. The morning show started sucking too, and I stopped listening to that when they just became a non stop on-air commercial for shitty TV shows and movies.
You can catch all of the good 80's songs KROQ used to play though on their stream: »www.roqofthe80s.com/
It is a shame too that Indie 103.1 FM went under. But they would not buckle to the labels, and become another KROQ. They have a internet stream, but it's not the same. All of the good shows are gone (Jonsey's Jukebox/Jury especially). I think you can still catch Barely Legal though which is worth a listen. |

1 edit | reply to RR Conductor I remember picking up a few of these at the Fashion Plaza in West Covina in High School, around 1986 or 87. -- You've got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything. |

Like this but with KROQ |
I also liked KROQ back then. I even made a KROQ sticker out of the KLOS stickers that became big.
Now that I got new speakers for my Blazer, an IPod touch and the adapter to play it on the stereo. I haven't had a radio station on in about 5 months. the radio has been going to shit for a while and I don't drive enough to pay for XM or Sirius. -- mbsastronomy.com |

2 edits | reply to RR Conductor I would have definitely liked that one too. I found a cool station online, KROQ Roq of the 80's, I'm not sure if it's them running it or not but it plays the stuff KROQ was made famous by. I'm the same way in my listening too Bun, satellite and net radio all the way for me, crappy ota radio these days, and there isn't too much choice up here as it is, though we do have some original, independent stations like KOZT »www.kozt.com/ They have won quite a few awards.
