What drivers are you using?
For this card I could never get D-Link drivers to work for it in the past. They might have a newer set on their site but to this day I still don't bother with D-Link's set.
Instead I use a set of generic drivers provided by Airlink that seem to work every time. They don't come with a utility but that is built into windows anyways.
