Re: 6 firetrucks at 151

Wasn't a lot of TekSavvy's equipment in the Peer1 suite? I know they had moved a bunch of it out of there, but when that big a chunk of your network goes offline, I doubt they could get things up and running even in an emergency capacity without physically getting into the facility and rewiring stuff.

EDIT: If this is to be a very long-term multi-day outage, perhaps TekSavvy can hook us up with emergency logins from another ISP? Although I guess none of the others that aren't hosted at 151 like eBox have enough AHSSPI capacity.

I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to say, tho you can make a lot of inferences from past info here.

They said it all already, I just don't remember all the details. Unlike certain other users here, I don't bother to memorize every single detail of TekSavvy's operational details

Maybe this is why my connection died and my neighbour's Bell connection still works.

Same here. bell login.

Funny/odd thing - when using this Bell login cannot connect to dslr. Cannot connect to cnn.com. Can connect to cbc.ca.

Using wget to pull dslr/teksavvy page goes like this:

However I can tracert to www.dslreports.com fine. WTF is up with 401 AuthReq's?

Am VNC'd into office right now. VNC rules.

no, I rackmount my servers in another 2 suites

I only run one box in Peer1, and that's my monitoring, and secondary IRC/NOC/LG/DNS servers.

But a few people DO have UPSes in their cabs.
