Existing updates (SP3, for instance) aren't going anywhere.

To prove my point: Windows 95 SP1

You're good to go for quite some time, I'd say.

I am preparing to install OSs into new HW and thus, a new puter. It will dual-boot WinXPpro for old times sake and Win7RC. Whenever the time comes that Win7 is a full OS, then I will clean-install that again into the same, original space.

For now, I have this full version, with key, of WinXPpro SP2.

• My question is: Will MS still offer the d/l of necessary updates to bring this current? (sp3, etc.)

Thank you and best regards, Ugly
