Re: Uncanceled Echo high from 11 to 3 or 4pm. DSL disconnects

How would they know you dont have bridgetap?
You isolated away the house equipment, why wouldnt they send a tech? And how hot is outside temp?

Thanks for the reply. In answer to your questions the temperatures are high 80's low 90's, qwest did send a tech but he came at 9am before any trouble started. I did indeed isolate the line, it only has one 3' phone cable and the modem, nothing else is hooked up. As far as the bridge tap the tech assured me it was not possible, her explanation was because I didn't have a landline (all though I did previously have one, dropped it about 9 months ago).

Hello there, my name is Brian and I work for Qwest. I ran across your post here, and am curious if I can help you with the connection issue you seem to be having. If you would like more help with it, I can have one of our DSL tech support specialists look into it.

Just send me an e-mail at TalkToUs@Qwest.com, and put my name in the subject line.

thanks,
