The digital converter box works fine but my VCR (Panasonic) skips over channels 3 & 4 (among others) when you go to select the channel during the program setup process. My various workaround attempts haven't worked. Is there any way to force the thing to record from Channel 4? Are there any VCR brands out there that don't have minds of their own?
If the time has come to get a DVD recorder, how do I know it wouldn't do the same thing?
The VCR should have a swicth where you choose either 3 or 4 to recor off of. If you get a DVD recorder it will have a built in digital tuenr so it won't be an issue. You won't even have to hook the converter box to it. |
