But it's also possible the the carrier (Level 3?) who sold them all these numbers is the one who removed the "nice" numbers. I don't know how much G is paying per number - but it must be dirt cheap. Maybe the carrier decided they're only willing to part with "regular" numbers for the price. Pure speculation, of course. But carriers definitely do that.
