channel menu keeps popping up

First off, I apologize if this was already posted, I did a search on the forum, but to no avail.

Now, for some time now, like a few months, I have noticed that if I go to a channel and hit the exit button to get rid of the menu that shows the current ch, show, shows desc, time ..., the menu pops up again a few seconds later, I hit exit again and same thing, this can go on forever.

Does anyone else have this issue? If so, any resolutions, its REALLY annoying. This does not have everytime and on the same channel. Its on any channel. I can so I have only seen this on the HD channels, since those are the only channels I watch.

Thanks,
RalphTrent

It's a bug in the IMG software, if I remember correctly it is difficult to reproduce for Vz, which makes it difficult to fix.

The only way to get rid of it is to either hit Exit twice in a row or change the channel

I get that sometimes too.
You can also "cycle it off" with the info button ...
hit info to get the full page innformation, then hit it again to remove it.

This happened to me once. I hit the last button to switch between tuners and it stopped.

nascar, how do you switch between tuners. Is that part of a new IMG? I was not aware of anything like that.

Thanks for all the replies.

On the remote... Hit "Pause" then hit "Last" then hit "Pause". Each time you hit "Last" you will swap between both paused tuners.
