But it will make them do it withen a certain time frame. To know more its best to just talk to a Cox CSR, and ask if your area is already D3 ready or not. that will give you a good ideal.

madden2k5 : Im talking about where you live. Because I don't know personally if your area is upgraded to D3 yet. Because i seen alot of people get the D3 speed Tier there.. then get told it will be a week or two before they got bonded channels because cox didn't have there equipment totally upgraded for D3 in there neighborhood.

madden2k5 : From what i have heard and from info i got from cox techs. If your area has D3, and you have a D3 modem, but you don't have there D3 Tier, You should still get bonded channels for downstream. I can't tell you have many bonded channels you should get.

The thing is more people they get on bonded channels the better for there network anyways, because it takes alot of the strain off a single channel and splits it between multiple channels.

sfsr : I have read opinions both ways and for different markets - so I was hoping someone from cox or anyone who knows for certain could answer:

In the Phoenix/AZ Market - are D3 modems using channel bonding?

If yes - is it only the users who are on the Premier Plus plan that should be bonding or is it anyone with a supported D3 modem?

Thanks in advance.
