said by NormanS :BTW, Best Buy tried to sell me the Monster HDMI cable, but I opted for a less expensive "no-name" brand in the store. It connects the D-Link to the Bravia, and works perfectly. Even with the no-name, which I believe would be the Dynex cables for BB, they are still charging $30 for a 6' HDMI cable -- total ripoff.. Monoprice charges $3.56 for a 6' HDMI 1.3a Cat 2 certified cable. |

Lots of cables there too. And as bad as Cablevision may be they include a set of component cables with every HD box to get you going. |

And as bad as Cablevision may be they include a set of component cables with every HD box to get you going. Cablevision doesn't provide cable service here, and I don't have cable TV service, anyway. The box I bought at Fry's Electronics; made by D-Link. Only came with a component cable. The box has nothing to do with either cable TV (Comcast), or satellite TV (DirecTV). -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
