Wallace signs 2 year deal with Celtics. I don't like Wallace because of his attitude, but this clearly makes Boston the best team in the NBA.

| Dumars built up a ton of credibility by taking players who werent doing a whole lot with other teams and making a champion out of them. Chauncey Billups was on a fast train to mediocrity before Dumars got his hands on him. Rasheed had a nice career, but hardly the best player on a title squad. You cant stay with the guys who won you a ring forever, and you have to reload. The Iverson deal sucked, though.

Rasheed will be a damn good bench player on the Celtics roster basically replacing Powe. He's is a bit of a punk, but is he any worse than Marbury and he turned in to a model citizen.
To me, if healthy, they already would be the best team in the NBA, this makes them even better.

They did get better... but the point is Shaq isn't the Shaq we saw get those 4 rings with Dwade and Kobe he is an older and slower and fatter player... The reason they didn't go to the finals wasn't because of their center it was because they couldnt guard Rashard Lewis and Hedo... and do you expect them to guard Rashard now? Shaq go out there? no... and Vince? put Shaq out there? yet again No... he can't guard the pick and role which is what the magic KILLED them with in the post season... and Shaq isn't any better then any other big man..
Sure he'll help against Dwight but Dwight had really only one good game and that was game 6(correct me on the game if I'm wrong) They weren't the best team in the conference last year what is to say they are this year? The Celtics almost beat the Magic without KG and Powe... now they get KG back and upgrade Powe to Rasheed? and the Magic destroyed the Cavs in the post season and regular season and they got better with the addition of VC! The Cavs are the third best team in the East and can't win more than 2 games against the Magic or Celtics in the postseason...

I absolutely agree with this, but the same logic can be applied to Houston almost beating LA without Yao or Tracey McGrady.
If Rondo and the Big 3 are healthy, Boston will beat anybody. However, if Houston is completely healthy, which admittedly is a big if this coming season for Yao then Houston is the best team in the West. Even with Artest now moving over to LA, they still have Yao, Battier, McGrady and Brooks who really stepped up his game in the series with LA.
