LBDSL posted : no such device exist, to go from the dish to a receiver, due to the tech requirements of the dish, and Receiver talking with each other (It is more then just audio, and video)

The only wireless option you would have would be from the receiver to the TV (I'm not sure if those do HD, or if you even get HD programming)
--
Lightning Bolt Technologies

[Satellite] Dish wiring

Hippo42 posted : I just moved to an apartment from a house and will be getting the dish reinstalled this week. Because of drilling restrictions, the cable will go through a door or window from my patio to the living room. There's only one area where I can have my tv, but there's absolutely no way for me to hide the dish cable other than running it along the walls, which will end up being way too much wiring and will be unsightly. the only other option is to run it across the floor, which would be even more unsightly. I recall reading somewhere about a device that i could connect to the cable that would then transmit the AV signal wirelessly to the receiver up to 500-1000 ft away. I've tried searching for this online but haven't been able to come up with anything. Anybody have a clue as to what I'm talking about or have any other suggestions? Please keep in mind that I have regressed to "dummy" status with regard to tech stuff.
