| magicjack wont work when on game.
Just like the title says. When I get on a game magicJack doesn't work. There wont be a dial tone. I get off the game and dial tone is back. It happens to me with games that are not online. I have almost nothing else running other then magicjack and avast. I talked with an online agent and she was unable to solve this for me.

Does the router have QoS capability?

And you say you have no other programs running, but what about Windows Services?!
Type services.msc in the Run box and what do you get?

Does the game you're playing try to create a virtual CD drive? Since MJ does that it could cause an issue... Do you have any other software that starts a VCD drive? I know that though my virtual drives installed through Alcohol 120% work properly I cannot run the actual program while MJ is up and running. (I need to get an el cheapo computer to run my MJ - it seems to be kinda' buggy and I'd like the software off my PC.) |
