I have it on the pole outside my home but I am still with Cablevision (OOL and Broadcast Basic). There is no price advantage with FiOS, though it does keep Cablevision honest when it comes to Internet pricing Also, Cablevision provides free access to OptimumWifi for all OOL customers. They are installing WiFi nodes everywhere and just installed several this week near here at our public beach. You can now sit on the beach with your netbook and surf the Internet instead of the water. -- I support the right to keep and arm bears.
Do you have copper phone service, or coax phone through CV? The cable co's phone service doesn't come with battery back up as far as i know, fios does. Handy in a blackout. *shrug*
