| reply to indriti632 Are you sure all the air was properly purged from the block and head after the repairs? In some cars this is very difficult to do without many attempts.
You did not mention if the water pump was replaced, porbably not the problem as they typically last longer than that.
What was the original problem that led to the head gasket failure? |

the head war reffit , that means that was like new. the water pump i think isn't the poblem becouse the engine doesnt overheat in idle. the original problem that i replaced the heag gasket wast becouse coolant income into the cilinder area , the car stop working and didn't start .
so the only thing that i think is to re flush the radiator and replace the cracked broken fexi pipe, and wash the catalic exhahust for any block in .
thank a lot |

| Don't just flush the radiator. Take it to a radiator repair shop and have them rod the tubes. They have long rods that just fit inside the tubes and will push out any junk that has accumulated inside them. Sometimes most of the lower tubes can get clogged up, effectively shrinking the radiator.
Also make certain that any electric fans are wired properly. When hooked up backwards, they'll work OK at idle and low speeds, but fight the natural airflow at speed and prevent good flow through the radiator. |
