Moving day almost here!

Well about 97% of the entire house is in boxes now and in the garage all stacked and ready to load.

There's quite a bit of stuff that just doesn't fit into boxes, so that stuff is sitting in the kitchen at the moment. Coffee tables, end tables, you know...

Got a guy from the ex-workplace who offerred to help me load the truck up on Saturday and another friend who said he'd come over on Sunday to help me finish up. The sunday dude is gonna have to help me "fit" all the miscellaneous crap that couldn't go into boxes into the spaces left in the truck.

Figuring I'll hit the road as soon as the truck pulls out monday - whenever that is - I'm hoping it's early. I'd like to be on the road no later than 11am so I can hit vegas by 11pm and get some rest... Then pick up the next day and do a short 5 hour stint into Long beach.

If the truck doesn't get picked up until 2 or 3pm I might just decide to drive right on through since my folks will be up by the time I arrive and I can go inside and crash on the couch.

So what is the long term plan after you get back to SoCal and settle in?

well I'm gonna hit up the agencies that have placed me in positions in the past and keep my fingers crossed. I've already contacted 3 of them...but I cant take any job until after I return from my 2nd trip to get the other car. so around the end of July I'll actually be able to take something on.
