Or try another server. The one closest to me (Los Angeles) consistently gives me the slowest uploads.
And don't forget that with all the FiOS users hammering Speedtest.net and other sites, those sites may become the bottlenecks. A single Speedtest.net result is simply not indicative of the sustained throughput you can expect.
reply to THoff I noticed speakeasy.net is getting slow for me with testing but speedtest.net remains good and consistent for me. myspeed.visualware.com is also good but sometimes gives slower results
