| [VOIPo] voipo caller id
Hi, I am new voipo subscriber here. I got a new number from voipo rather then port my callvantage number.
Couple of questions about caller id. On outgoing calls to Verizon numbers, people are reporting rather then my name it shows Rhode Island. Does voipo submit customer names to a database somewhere so this information is correct?
When my parents call me the name that shows up on my caller is the name of my sister not my father who's name the phone is listed on. How does that work? Do different phone providers use different databases or sources of information for their reverse lookup? |

If you need to update your actual CNAM information that's displayed on Caller ID when you place calls, you'll need to contact support for that. We now offer Outbound CNAM in 98% of our coverage area for both new and ported numbers. If your number does not currently display a name, you can contact support to see if it's in an eligible ratecenter to have it added. --
