One computer is slowing down all others on network

I have a PC laptop that was recently infect with any number of viruses. I feel confident that it's clean, but now anytime it accesses the internet, anyone else on our wireless network (Mac airport) gets slowed down or blocked completely. I use the Windows firewall on this laptop. I've checked everything I know to check and I'm now stumped.

use windows' task manager, performance monitor display. Look at network graph. See if that PC is indeed generating lots of LAN traffic.

It seems like the viruses still on the laptop jammed the traffic of the router. You should use the laptop recover disk to reload the laptop OS back to the laptop default setting in order to clean up the viruses on the laptop.

Thanks - there was one stubborn virus that I finally took care of and that cleared up the problem.
