Does this look right? I just reinstalled XP with the only programs installed was roboform and Yahoo mess and SP3 installed It was working fine then all of a sudden my internet was SLOW. Like 5 mins to NEVER on pulling up just my home page MSN! I have Centurytel DSL with a westel dls router with a linsys 54g Wireless router. The computer I'm using is connecting wireless with a D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G132 USB adaptor. Not sure what else ya mite need but here's a screen shot of the wireless connection showing the packets.Even when I disable and enable it the sent shows 500000 and the recieved show 5-6-7 and slowly works it was up. |

| reply to jellybean Your connection is uploading a wad of packets, relative to download. For most people, that connection should be asymmetric, weighted toward "Received" packets, or, at worst symmetric (as mine is when I am running a BitTorrent download).
Asymmetric, weighted toward "Sent" packets suggests the possibility that your computer is compromised, and is part of a 'botnet, delivering malicious content to the Internet. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
