The last time I checked 40G was becoming cheaper to install and is good for metro applications i.e. short enough for dispersion not to be a factor.<br><br>Downtown Santa Rosa could be close enough for population along with San Francisco.<br><br>AT&T use a hybrid called Uverse; optical to the VRAD and then copper.]]></description>
