my wife and i are really enjoying our u-verse voice service (switched over from pots a couple of months ago). the emailed notifications of new messages are helpful, but what i would "really" like is if i had a menu choice to have at&t attach the .wav file to the email notification. we have something called modular messaging at work that does this, and it's a great timesaver because i can listen to voice mail messages immediately in outlook or on blackberry using windows media player. i hope someone within at&t can consider making such an option possible. right now, all i can get by email is the notification that a message is waiting, and that requires getting on a browser, logging in, and drilling down a couple of pages to get to the message.

Find out when you have new messages
When you have unheard messages, your home phone will have a stutter dial tone and display a flashing light (if it has that feature). You can also get message alerts on your wireless phone or pager or by email.

Email Notification: When a new message is waiting, you'll get an email with the message type, the message header, and a date and time stamp.
