Re: how much?

said by Fox McCloud:

unless you're on SERO, upon which it's $49.99 a month for 5GB (if you were grandfathered, it's still infinite, however).

From what I've heard the cap is kind of loose...can't confirm that though, as I'm no longer a customer.
can you transfer your existing datacard account? (btw. I get an employer discount of 19% on my cap grandfathered datacard)

Doubt it.. it's obviously for new lines of service at the price rate they want.. I doubt they're giving virtually a free netbook for those already in a plan... that's discounted.

As far as I can tell, you can extend the datacard contract and keep the grandfathered soft cap.

There are no grandfathered soft caps... That's been escalated up to the presidents office at Sprint.. they changed all the services, both personal and business (as they are all the same anyway) and the rules are what they are for everyone now.. that's been told to me from the office of the president of Sprint.. if you know otherwise, please let me know.. would be interesting to see how they grandfathered.. Mine is a bonafide business account and have had it for quite some time now.

I don't pay for overages.... I have a grandfathered plan. Without reading the fine print, I can bet you a beer you pay dearly for usage above 5GB with this netbook.
