| email login problems
Since early this morning, email logins are failing and/or hanging. This is using pop clients. Webmail logins are either taking 2-3 minutes to complete or also failing. This is happening on multiple accounts. It is all intermittent with approximately 20% of logins still successful.
General internet connectivity is fine. All other sites and email servers respond as usual.
Also, didn't mail.optonline.net used to respond to ping requests? It is not doing so today. |

It's a known issue right now. Before it was down completely, now it's just slow/intermittent. It is being worked on, and hopefully will be running properly shortly. |
