I only order HDMI cables from them, I have never had any issues. They work great. I also order ANY other kind of AV/computer cables from them.

Only bummer for me is that they ship from Cali, so it can take a few days to get to the east coast. BUT they will use USPS for small orders, something very few online companies will do since UPS/Fedex will pick up their shipments and I'm sure have some kind of corporate deal in place. So with USPS Priority you'll have it in 3 days, that's 2 days faster than UPS/Fedex ground if you are in the Northeast.

One must have item is the electric plug 1ft extension cords, they work perfect for those huge bulky power "bricks" This way you can plug multiple bricks into outlets right next to each other on a power strip. I ordered like 5 of these things last time, knowing I will use them at times.

I have ordered tons of stuff & it always ships FAST and the prices are so low.

Some of the stuff I bought:
100' CAT 6 (I ran ethernet across my garage & up to the second floor & around my living room, had to drill through the wall & the floor, lots of fun)

Back when I worked for CompUSA, all employees got to buy anything on the shelves for cost. One day I picked up 4 USB cables 6' and 5 Cat5e cables 12'. My total price with the cost discount...$6.48 ;)

At the same time, they would have been lucky to make $50 by selling a whole complete system. That's why when you go into these stores, they are trying to shove those accessories and cables along with service plans down your throat.

I really like their shopping cart shipping calculator. It is "real time" in that the shipping cost is updated anytime you add/change your cart items. It is also weight based, and they show you the cart weight. So, plenty of times I have went ahead and added something small and light (like cable ties) without increasing the overall shipping cost.

Not sure about censured reviews, because I have seen some low ratings. However, they do put them at the bottom of the list, so you may need to go through several pages to get to them. I have suspected that they may weight them differently for the overall score. I've also heard good things about blue jeans cable. I personally like them for sticking it to Monster Cable for their a88hat behavior towards them.

But seriously, yes, I've gotten some pretty decent products from them at very reasonable prices.

I've gotten HDMI cables from them that are awesome quality at a fraction of the price you'd pay at retail outlets.

I also typically order my audio, video (besides HDMI), network, USB, HDD, and other cables from them. I also got a pretty rocking Network USB server device from them about a month ago for roughly $35 that supports up to 4 USB devices across the network.

They're good, reliable, ship quickly, and have great merchandise for the price. I'd absolutely recommend them. :)

Their items are of very good quality but to be honest, an HDMI cable is an HDMI cable. All that gold plated this and gold plated that is just marketing.

What threw you for a loop... the fact that local stores charge $30 for an HDMI cable that should only cost $5? :D

My advice... order a few different things to keep in hand. Shipping cost vs the price of the items makes this worth it.
