Most folks were at work during the day, so company Internet connections took most of the impact.
We spent a good portion of the day identifying video streaming servers and null routing them because web browsing traffic across the company was saturating our external firewalls and starting to interrupt business communications. (Turns out CheckPoint Secure Platform maxes out around 6gbps on an HP DL580/10GigE interfaces)
You should have instead gotten one feed and relayed it on the LAN. Or just put a TV in the break room. There are going to be events like this many times in the future.
