I'm just saying that Midco actually takes full advantage of DOCSIS 3, whereas SEBB might as well be using DOCSIS 1.1 or 2.0. They also have no caps. So slightly skewed comparison.

I wasn't actually comparing the two, just saying that the tech was available out here.

My main point was that in NYC itself there isn't really a shortage of connectivity options, as the city has a FiOS franchise agreement and multiple cable ISPs including Cablevision, Time Warner and RCN. (CV and TWC do serve different areas, but RCN overbuilds in some areas).

However Manhattan (TWC) doesn't have D3 yet, and RCN isn't D3 yet.
