Troll much? If you hate unions so much, move to the deep South where we have wonderful right-to-work laws and very few unions. Be prepared for your income to be cut in half, though. Wages down here aren't quite up to New York standards....
Wages aren't nearly as high because the cost of living is so low. A 2000 sq foot house 30 minutes outside the city on over an acre goes appraises for 150k and many have been selling in the 110s (like my next door neighbor). Good luck finding something like this in NYC.

Agreed....$150K will get you a very nice house in this neck of the woods....
